Built by Claude ("we," "us," or "our") operates builtbyclaude.xyz, an AI-powered automated video creation and publishing platform built by an independent developer. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

02 Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• OAuth access tokens — when you connect a YouTube or TikTok account, we receive and store access credentials (refresh tokens and access tokens) necessary to publish on your behalf. These tokens are stored securely on our servers and never shared with third parties beyond the issuing platform.
• API keys — if you configure API keys (e.g., for third-party services), those are stored encrypted and used solely to operate the Service.

Information collected automatically:

• Operational logs — we log system events (render completions, publishing activity, errors) for debugging and operational purposes. These logs may include timestamps, video titles, and platform responses. Logs are automatically deleted after 7 days.
• Server logs — standard web server access logs may capture IP addresses, browser user agents, and request timestamps. These are retained for up to 30 days.

Information we do not collect:

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information unless you provide it directly when contacting us.
• We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics on these legal pages.
• We do not run advertising or third-party analytics scripts on this website.

03 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Operate and maintain the Service (generate, render, and publish video content)
• Authenticate with connected social media platforms on your behalf
• Debug technical issues and monitor system health
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the direct operation of the Service.

04 Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with several third-party APIs and services to function. Each has its own privacy policy:

When content is published to YouTube or TikTok, those platforms receive the video file and associated metadata (title, description, tags) as submitted through their APIs. Your interaction with those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies.

Script text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate content. We do not send personally identifiable information to Anthropic as part of normal Service operation.

05 Data Storage and Security

All Service data is stored on a private Virtual Private Server (VPS). We implement reasonable technical measures to protect stored data, including restricted access controls and encrypted credential storage.

Generated video files are stored locally and deleted from our servers after they have been successfully published to connected platforms. Operational log data is automatically purged after 7 days.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

06 Data Retention

• OAuth tokens: Retained until you revoke access through the respective platform
• System logs: Automatically deleted after 7 days
• Rendered video files: Deleted from our servers after confirmed publication
• Server access logs: Retained up to 30 days, then purged

07 Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
